I was delighted to be part of Everest NGO who is into empowering children of the economically weaker sections to be educated and skilled. I volunteered in the 'Job Readiness Skills for Girls Program'. It was a 30 day program involving a comprehensive curriculum enabling a girl to be job ready. It covered various aspects including awareness on various careers, strengths and weakness analysis of oneself, resume writing, interview preparation and designing a career roadmap.
